DESCRIPTION:The City of Blaine will host a day-long festival at Blaine Marina Park at I-5 exit 276 at the US/Canada International border. Blaine Marine Park offers waterfront views of Semiahmoo Resort\, Mount Baker\, and White Rock\, BC. The Bellingham Scottish Gathering festival celebrates Scotland's culture and has planned special events to highlight Blaine's By the Sea theme. The festival will showcase Scotland's working harbors that mirror the active fishing and boating communities of Blaine.\n\nBellingham Scottish Gathering is thrilled to announce some exciting news for the Highland Dancing Community. For the first time\, the Bellingham Open Highland Dancing Championship will be a feature of the 2025 Highland Games. The championship has been newly sanctioned by the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing\, so we are looking forward to welcoming competitors to this prestigious competition.
