Blaine Farmers Market – Vendor Instructions and Safety Plan
Blaine Farmers Market Hours: Saturdays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Phase 2: Essential and Non-Essential Vendors Welcome
Exciting news!! We are adding a flea market (in addition to the farmers market vendors) on the last Saturday of every month. Vendor spaces are still available!
You must notify the chamber office no later than Friday if you’re participating that Saturday by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 360-332-4544 in order to reserve a space. Booth assignment is first come first serve but we must be notified in order to reserve a space each week.
Booth set up is from 8:00 – 9:30 am.
Vendor spaces are 10’ x 10’ and the Booth Fee is $5.00
*Fees are payable on site each week, no charge for Non-Profit
Due to social distancing requirements vendor booths will be spread out, and spaces will be available on a first come first serve basis. We will also work to utilize both plaza’s if when possible.

Required Vendor Operating Standards:
To comply with recommendations from the Whatcom County Health Department & CDC:
All staff and vendors are required to wear a face mask. The chamber will supply you with one if needed.
Customers are not allowed to handle produce. We will post signage at the market for customer awareness but will need your assistance in monitoring this at your booth.
Vendors will bag all purchases (when necessary) and will be hand washing, sanitizing or changing gloves before touching food, or after handling money, phones or any non-food surface. If you do not have a portable hand washing station you must bring a supply of gloves and hand sanitizer for your booth. We recommend staffing your booth with 2 people if possible; one to handle payment and the other to handle your products.
There will be no cooking allowed onsite and all cooked items must be portioned, pre-packaged and sealed. Food sampling is suspended at this time.
Social Distancing Requirements: Vendor booths will be spread out to allow for increased physical distancing. All market attendees will be required to follow safe social distancing practices and we will rely on our vendors to help ensure social distancing plans are followed.
