  • Networking Opportunities: The Blaine Chamber holds regular networking events to allow members to exchange ideas, develop relationships and improve their professional network.  Being a member of the Chamber is not only a great way to be a part of the community, it is also important since 8% of small businesses fail because they don’t have a network.  As a member of the Chamber, you’re going to mix and mingle with other members of the professional community at various events, which can lead to opportunities you’ve never imagined.

Marketing and Advertising (publicity):  As a member of the Chamber, you have an opportunity to connect with potential customers through various marketing mediums such as e-newsletters, social media, community events, print advertising and our website.  You’ll also have sponsorship opportunities for greater exposure among a business-oriented crowd.

Referrals: Through the professional relationships built in the Chamber your service and product can be spread through word-of-mouth, and through the phone calls and emails that the Chamber and Visitor Center receives from prospective customers, as well as our online business directory.

Credibility: Being a member of the Chamber makes your business more desirable to customers.  When a small business is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, consumers are 63% more likely to purchase goods or services from the business again in the future.

A Voice in Government:  Advocacy in local, state and federal legislative issues and an active partnership with the economic development efforts of the City of Blaine.

Resources: If you need financial advice, help finding a new location, marketing assistance, or any number of services, you’re likely to find a fellow business member within our Chamber who can offer those services at a discounted rate.  Chamber members and vendor partners are always adding and improving benefits.  You might be able to offer services in your area of expertise to better position yourself as an industry expert, which puts you in contact with the types of people who need your business or service.

Mentoring and Development Programs: The purpose of the Chamber is to encourage and equip businesses to reach their full potential through educational speakers, business workshops, and consulting opportunities.  You become a part of a like-minded group dedicated to helping businesses, whether you’re an established business or seeking assistance or mentorship from established business people.
